A Vietnamese legend provides the origin of the name Love Waterfall. To reach the falls from the ticket office, take a lovely stone path that goes through the forest and it takes about 30 minutes to get there.

The Cat Cat Village is one of the oldest villages in the Sapa province and is also known as the H’mong ethnic group’s home.  Its well known for the manufacturing sectors, such as flax and cotton production and it has a solid weaving tradition.

Near Sapa Station is the Sapa Museum. Which is housed on the second floor of a local handicrafts store. It’s a good spot to visit if you want to find out more about Sapa’s ethnic groups.

10. Love Market

Every Saturday night in front of the town’s church, a sizable square is the location of the Sapa Love Market.  You could either stand outside to observe the market activities or go to the center to mingle with the locals.
