1. Confucius Temple
The Tainan Confucius Temple is Tainan’s oldest and most revered temple. With roots dating back to 1666, it provides a glimpse into the past as well as scenic surroundings.

2. Kongmiao Shopping District
Kongmiao Shopping District, named after the Confucius Temple, is an ambient street lined with cafes and souvenir shops leading east from the entrance to Tainan Confucius Temple.

3. Explore the beaches
Tainan offers several beaches to choose from. The majority of the locals visit three of them. Yuguangdao/Sunset Platform/Gold Coast. Choosing the best beach for you is determined by your location.

5. Anping Old Fort
Anping Fort originally Fort Zeelandia. Built in 1634, served as the Dutch administrative center and a significant trading base. Things changed in 1661, when Cheng Kung drove the Dutch out of Taiwan and the fort was renamed Anping.

6. Anping Tree House
Anping Treehouse is a popular attraction in Anping. Made up of an abandoned warehouse that has been completely overrun by trees. Located behind the former Tait & Co. Merchant House.

7. Blueprint Creative Park
The Blueprint Culture & Creative Park is best explored at night, so when photogenic 3D blueprint of a house is all illuminated. A souvenir shop, a few cafés, some community art spaces, an indigo dying house and statues of a blue robot mascot.

8. Chimei Museum
Chimei Museum houses a pretty big art collection. Musical instruments (the world’s largest violin collection), fine arts, natural history/fossils, antiques and an impressive armor collection are all in the showcase.

9. Beimen Crystal Church
Beimen Crystal Church a pond surrounded curved glass structure. It’s a popular Instagram as well as a wedding photography location.

10. Night Market
Tainan’s night markets operate differently, each has its own night. There’s a local to help you remember when to go where (Mon/Tues/Fri=Ta Tung – Wed=Wusheng – Thurs/Sat/Sun=Garden).
