1. Bolaven Plateau
One of the most popular tourist destinations in Laos, it is composed of a sizable plateau covered in rivers, imposing vegetation and tumbling waterfalls called Bolaven Plateau.

2. Tad Lo
Tad Lo is accessible by foot or by bicycle. Swimming here is exciting, but sitting on dry land and taking in the massive granite wall over which the waters erupt is equally enjoyable.

4. Tad Fane
Impressive to witness these twin waterfalls named Tad Fane all year, the rainy season between July-October is the best timing, with their roughly 120m falls. Found in the Dong Hua Sao National Park.

5. Wat Luang
You won’t have to contend with the crowds as this is one of Laos’ most stunning but least frequented temples, which is another wonderful reason to visit.

6. Phou Salao
To get the greatest view of Pakse, climb Salao Hill and catch the Phu Salao, which is a part of the Buddhist temple complex. There are other smaller golden Buddha statues along the road.
