1. Dragon Boat Pagoda
From the Kandawgyi Park, you can see the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda and other lakeside sites, including a huge golden dragon boat floating in the water.

2. Shwedagon Pagoda
One of the most well known pagodas in the entire world, the Shwedagon Pagoda is absolutely gorgeous. A core structure that is coated in gold leaf and set with priceless gems like diamonds and rubies makes up the Pagoda.

3. Great Bell of Dhammazedi
The largest bell ever constructed, it was cast from 180,000 visses (294 tons or 267 tonnes) of metal, including silver, gold, copper, tin and measured 12 cubits high and 8 cubits broad.

4. Kandawgyi Lake
Also known as Royal Lake, as a reservoir and it is most beautiful at dusk when the Shwedagon Paya is reflected in its tranquil waters. A great area for an jog or stroll is the boardwalk, which largely runs along the lake.

5. Circle Line Train
Many of the Train lines in Myanmar, are notorious for their long rail rides, were constructed during the British colonial era. You can view the quaint villages that dot the railway line and the emerald green rice terraces while riding the Circle Train.

6. Chaukhtatgyi Buddha Temple
One of the largest reclining Buddha Statues in Myanmar, measuring 217 feet long. You can now appreciate all the exquisite elements and design touches up close.

One of Yangon’s retail shopping centers, Junction City Shopping Centre features over 240 international brands in the fashion, cosmetics, technology, cuisine, and entertainment areas.

8. Shan Noodle
Due to Burmese Cuisine’s lack of global popularity compared to other Asian cuisines, many tourists to Myanmar are unaware of how excellent the Food is. You must eat Shan Noodles, that originated in Shan State.
