1. Old Port
Although it has been in use since the ancient Greeks built Marseille 2400 years ago, the Old Port, or Vieux Port, now primarily functions as a wel liked tourist destination. The Old Port once hosted 18000 ships a year.

2. Basilique Notre Dame de la Garde
Basilique Notre Dame de la Garde structure stands against the Old Port’s southern skyline and is difficult to overlook. Created in 19th century and 150m above the water.

4. Palais Longchamp
When Palais Longchamp is lit up at night, it creates an amazing scene. It now serves as the Location of the city’s natural history and art museums.

The Architecture is just stunning. It includes art, photography exhibitions and historical artifacts. Futhermore serves as a sort of Overview of Mediterranean culture and civilization.

7. La Corniche
La Corniche is one continuous balcony next to the Mediterranean that winds down the coast for several kilometers from the Old Port, passing via beaches and eccentric tiny neighborhoods.

8. Charite
The Museum of Archaeology / of Art of Africa, Oceania, and America, which houses engraved human skulls from South America and African masks, are two of the most significant museums inside today.

9. Saint Charles Train Station
The train station was constructed in 1848 and is connected to the city center by a grand stairway. It is located high on a hill to the east of the city center. You have a great view over the city.
